Fonts

While there are lots of fonts to choose from not all of them will work on every browser. Since new fonts are invented every year, those with an older computer will not see those cool fonts and it may default to an ugly font you didn't intend. Here's a list of web-safe fonts that work on even some outdated computers.

Browser-Safe Fonts:

Arial
Georgia
Palatino Linotype
Book Antiqua
Palatino
Helvetica
Arial Black
Comic Sans MS
Impact
Charcoal
Tahoma
Lucida Sans Unicode
Lucida Console
Courier New
Trebuchet MS
Verdana
Sans-serif
Serif

Change Font In Style Sheet:

Because not all fonts work on every computer browser, it is important to choose a second, third, and sometimes fourth font that your guests' browsers will recognize and use in case the originally chosen font doesn't work. For instance, if you use the font "Chiller" as the body font, most browsers won't support that, and the text will come out in Courier New. So instead, keep in mind a back-up font from the list of Browser-Safe Fonts. To do this put a comma after the original font you want to use and put in the secondary font, third, comma, and so on.
