Dear Diary,
The talent show yesterday was the single most thrilling experience of my life! I never expected to be able to overcome my sudden stage fright, but all of the sudden the room became quiet, I took a deep breath, swallowed my fear and there was Larzania and I next to a giant piano, like we were the only two Pokemon in the world. Suddenly, I focused on nothing but the notes, and I got through it. And, afterwards, there was a swell of excitement from the crowd; they really loved us!
The excitement didn't end there, though. Larza and I sat back down together and we watched through the other acts. There was stand-up comedy, a puppet show, a juggler, a Pokemon who painted in time to music, three dancers, and then came Rowan and his band. I was most looking forward to seeing Rowan's act because he hyped it up so much. His music was live and energetic, albeit a little rowdy, but even the parents seemed to enjoy themselves.
However, when it came to the end, everything went up in smoke... quite literally. Rowan smashed his guitar and lit it on fire, and suddenly the stage caught on fire, the curtains, and part of the flames danced to the front row. Everyone was very alarmed and there was a great bustle suddenly. Fortunately, our principal is a water-type Pokemon, so he began to put out the flames. Between him, and our local fire department, everyone was safe.
After Rowan and his band apologized for the misfortunes and all the folks were escorted out on the school's front lawn, the rest of the acts were resumed until around 9. It was just so much action, we were all still talking about it in class today. I don't think it'll be forgotten anytime soon.

Dear Diary,
I've been so busy with the finals that I forgot to say how it has been going with Larza practicing for the talent show. I've been practicing for an hour every day after school with her, and an hour by myself. I'm hearing the melody in my head when it's quiet. Lol
The talent show is next Monday! I'm so excited!

Dear Diary,
The writing and reading finals went great! It was a lot of multiple choice, some fill in the blank, and one essay question. And, after we were done, the teacher went over some fourth grade stuff with us. It was challenging and fun! I can't wait to learn more.

The first week of testing went well, I think. It was all math, which isn't my strongest subject, but a lot of it was geometry, so I think I did okay.
Next week will be all reading and writing, which is what I love! So horray!

I'm so excited. Today was the day I handed in my book report. I double checked it. Dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's, and I think it's just perfect! I hope the teacher loves it!

Weather today was perfect. We all got to eat snack outside, and I got to use free period to draw.
We have finals next week and the week after, which the school said I could get extra help with because I'm new to the school and ciriculum. But, I'm pretty confident in what I'd been studying before transferring.

I got some exciting news today! We are getting to write a book report! I knew immediately which book I was going to pick as soon as I saw the list. I picked "Emily The Strange." I read the books last summer, and got really into them. They reminded me of a girl my mom used to tell me about who lived in Saffron. She always had such interesting stories she would tell me about her. Well, "Emily The Strange" is an interesting character, too. I love meeting and reading about interesting people and Pokémon. That is why I am friends with Rowan and Larza. Everything they do is so interesting to me. I grew up in such a formal place, but they are so crazy, in a good way. They use slang and they dance to songs on their phones. They play computer games and have crazy hairstyles. I just love my friends!

Dear Diary,
It's my first day of school. I've never been to public school before and I'm super nervous. I've been to private schools and I've homeschooled before. I barely got to sleep last night. I kept going in and out of my Pokéball, but my nerves have got the best of me. My friend Eevee, Larza, said I should write my feelings down in a log or diary like she does. I feel better already!
So I should introduce myself. I'm Akádia, and I'm an Espeon. I'm not too special or anything, but I like writing stories.
